Isn’t it funny where wanderlust comes from sometimes? You wouldn’t think that a holiday revolving around pumpkins, candy and filling in the “sexy _____” would inspire us to imagine a road trip through the American South; but that’s precisely what happened. Cities like Charleston, SC, Savannah and New Orleans have a haunting beauty all their own—Southern Gothic, if you will. From the slightly worn, classic architecture to the dramatic cascade of live oak tree branches, it’s hard not to be drawn in to the moody romance of it all, some of which is very dramatic, indeed. “Sexy Blanks” have nothing on this week’s Five Favorite Pins.
